THE TWIN TURBO V6 IS BOTH SPORTY AND VERSATILE
The 3-litre Twin Turbo V6 fitted to the Quattroporte S* has the Quattroporte GTS V8's sporty edge; the two units also share most of their components. The bore spec and combustion chamber
design are unchanged, as is the technology that controls the valves and direct injection. These refined solutions allow the V6 to develop 301kW (410 HP) at 5500 rpm.
AMAZING TORQUE PROVIDES EXCITING ACCELERATION
The versatile V6 unit that equips the Quattroporte S* thrills whenever the driver steps on the accelerator, with the power coming through loud and clear. In Sport mode, peak torque is
550 Nm and is reached at just 1750 rpm. These extraordinary figures see the Quattroporte S* sprint to 100 km/h (0-62 mph), from a standing start, in only 5.1 seconds (4.9 on the Q4 version).
It boasts a top speed of 285 km/h (177mph) (283km/h / 175mph for the Q4).
LIGHTER, MORE EFFICIENT GEAR CHANGES
The Quattroporte S* makes the most of its modern, automatic, 8-speed ZF transmission. Light and precise gear shifts are delivered by the auto-adaptive software that recognises the driver's
style and tweaks the type of shift accordingly. There are five modes to choose from and these can be selected by pushing the tunnel-mounted buttons: Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Manual Normal,
Manual Sport and the all-new I.C.E.
The Brembo brakes on the Quattroporte S* were created to optimise weight and guarantee high performance under intensive use. A six-piston monoblock is mounted up front and acts on 360 x 32 mm
discs, with four-piston units and 350 x 28 mm discs at the rear. The forged and ventilated discs boast dual-cast technology that unites the benefits of cast iron with lightweight aluminium.

CUTTING-EDGE SOLUTIONS MEAN SUPERB PERFORMANCE
The V6 remains true to the tradition of sporty Maserati engines and shares most mechanical parts with the V8 unit fitted to the Quattroporte GTS. The bore values of the two engines are
identical, as is the valve control technology and the direct injection system. These refined solutions push the car from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and result in a top speed of 283 km/h.
FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE WITH SPORTS HANDLING
Compact, light and efficient: these are the characteristics of the sophisticated Q4 four-wheel drive system. Ensuring driving sensations typical of a rear-wheel vehicle, even in low-grip
conditions, the set up is intelligently managed and continually varies the torque between all four wheels by analysing a series of parameters related to the driving style and road conditions.
SAFE WHATEVER THE CONDITIONS
In normal conditions, the Q4 system routes 100% of the drive to the rear wheels but, when grip levels drop, or when there is no rear-end grip, the required power is transferred instantly

weight distribution, with the right split between the front and rear axles, it is great fun to drive. What's more, the new steering system has been developed to give the driver unrivalled
“feel” of the car when cornering at speed.
THE SUSPENSION FEATURES THE LATEST EVOLUTION OF THE SPORT SKYHOOK SYSTEM
The suspension, double wishbone with aluminium arms at the front and five-arm multilink at the rear, is controlled by the latest version of the Sport Skyhook electronic system, with new shocks
featuring continuous damping variation. Pressing the button on the central tunnel switches to a more rigid damper setting, limiting load transfers when driving with a sportier style.
